Being the landlord to a family member realoly stinks! So far my son is in to me for over 1000.00! I have tried to talk to him about how I can not afford to pay his bills. he just does not get it. He sas but I am trying. I keep reminding him that if I can not pay my bills I can not just tell the people oh well dont worry about it I am trying. I hate to think that I am going to have to evict him excpecially because of the grand kids but I think that I am going to have to. Oh what a mess I made for my self. I thought that he would come down here and help me with fixing up dads house because I can not do it all my self. guess I was wrong. I have a Union meeting tonight so this is short sorry will try to post more after the re enactment this weekend. HUGS to all

That's a ruff place to be caught. Your son no doubt feels he has a safe hold on you with the children. He must feel you would never evict him as long as the children live there and it would make for a hard decision. Yet you can't allow him to take advantage of you and that is just what he is doing. It's hard to draw a line and say: Look I am not your mom...I am your landlord and you must follow the rules. God be with you. {{Hugs}}

I am so sorry you are going thru all this with your son. You would think they would be grateful, but they just keep dumping on you. If it comes down to it let me know. pepsilluver@msn.com I have all the paperwork to evict and give the reasons and all. If you want give me your time zone and i will call you and set it all up and make the paperwork all totally legal all you will have to do is print it up and sign it. If you want it can be a notice of intent to evict if certain conditons are not met. That is one thing I do here for friends besides making up their leases and making clauses in their leases and addendums to the lease. So I pretty well know my stuff on this end. Let me know. I just don't know what to say with thanksgiving comming up and wanting everyone to be happy this is so sad kids break our hearts in so many ways and the alsofill our hearts as well do what you have to taking atvantage of a parent isn't nice and they must learn to stand on there own feet HUGS
