Wow I have been gone for some time.  Been very busy.  Trying to get everything organized, cleaned and ready before my vacation.  It is that time of the year again where I seem to do nothing but work in the yard.  This past weekend I re did my flower bed in front of my house.  I made it bigger which of course ment I needed more dirt and more flowers.  Here are some pictures of the finished bed.

The flower bed is so big now that I could not take just one picture of it.  So I had to take the picture in three shots.  I moved all my gnoms in to this bed.  I am going to ave to pait them they are getting a bit faded.  But let me ask you all.  Has anyone ever seen a lady gnome?  I am still looking for a lady gnome.  All I can find are man gnomes.  That is discrimination dont ya think?  LOL  I guess you can see home brown the grass is we need sooooooo much rain.  I water the flowers but I do not water the grass.  still have to mow a couple of times a week because what is there is growing.  I have to wear a mask when I do because the air is like a dust bowl then.  Any way the flowers I planted are begonias and heather.  The begonias are all aroung the out side edges of the bed and I put the heather aroung my sego palm.  I started that from seed years ago and they grow very very slow.  I baby that like you would not believe.  I have some caladeums poping up behind the sego palms.  I planted those bulbs last year and I am just hoping  they all come up again. If not I will plant more maybe after vacation.  Or I will buy the plants and Ted can plant them for me.

I am getting so excited about this vacation  July 20th can not come soon enough.  I have 2 weeks vacation and the family reunion is july 28th.  We will be touring Gettysburg while up there and if we go thru Virginia maybe we can stop at some of the more famous battle field while we are there.  We will be leaving her hopefully on Friday the 20 if I can get the day off.  That would be great but if I cant we will leave saturday morning on the 21. 

I am hoping that my son comes to the picnic with the kids.  I would love to see them and spend some time with them.  I dont have to see my sons wife I can do with out her I feel that she has cause so many problems and I am no longer going to be the only one to be civil.  My mom alway sraised me that If I did not have something nice to say dont say nothing so I will not say nothing.

I have also been having alot of UNION stuff going on at work.  As a Shope steward I have obligations that I have to follow.  I have several grievences that I am working on and they are still on going.  I will try to visit you all my friends but at the moment can not promise that.  Just know that I am still here and thinking of you all often I hope all is going well for you all.  HUGS TO ALL
